In the article entitled," Know the Truth, So Don't Bother Me with Facts." Jeffrey Kluger stated, that individuals, are quick to believe gossip rather than knowing the truth. However, when it is proven that they are wrong they still refuse to admits the facts, in  studies done by Ohio State University on rumors about Islamic Cultural center it was note to be false, by all means most of them still refuse to change their views. This goes on to show how individual find it hard to accept other culture and are bias toward other beliefs. It is hard to win other over when they are set in their owns ways as convincing as it is they will never change. I agree with the author that, "people are easily deceived by rumors and flat out lies," because people are quick to  judge rather than seeking the truth, base on my personal experience with people that speak negative thing about Jamaica where I am from , they  never seek to find how loving and hard working jamaican can be, instead of sticking to false report from other.
